Seasonal Measures for Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) in Australia
As part of Australia's ongoing biosecurity efforts, the seasonal measures for Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) will be enforced for targeted goods manufactured in, or shipped from, target risk countries. These measures apply to goods shipped between 1 September and 30 April (inclusive) and to vessels that berth, load, or tranship from target risk countries within the same period.
Meeting 2023-24 BMSB Seasonal Measures in Australia
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has finalised the 2023-24 Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) seasonal measures. BMSB seasonal measures apply to goods shipped from 1 September 2023 and arriving in Australian territory by 30 April 2024 (inclusive).
